About Calcuvelo
Calcuvelo is an independent project that publishes free, privacy-friendly financial and economic calculators. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — we do not have accounts, and the numbers you enter are never uploaded or stored. The site is supported by advertising.
Who maintains this site
Calcuvelo is written and maintained by a single developer who builds and tests each calculator individually rather than relying on a generic template. Questions, correction requests, and feedback sent through the form above or by email go directly to that person — not to a support queue.
Our methodology
Every calculator on this site is built from a documented, standard formula — compound interest, amortization, present/future value, and so on — the same math you'd find in a finance textbook or a bank's own disclosures. Each tool's page shows the formula it uses in plain language so you can verify a result by hand. Where a tool relies on external data, such as benchmark interest rates on the GIC & Cash Ladder Optimizer, the page states the date that data was last reviewed.
Found a mistake?
We take accuracy seriously. If a result looks wrong, tell us which calculator you were using and the exact inputs you entered, and we will investigate and correct it. Each calculator also documents the formula it uses so you can check the math yourself.
